Underlying everything we do is an intuitive approach to the environment and small business: it’s a given that our papers are printed by master tradesmen in small batches using sustainable pulps and water-based inks.
Beware the Moon was set-up by father and daughter John and Louise Wakefield - he with 40 years experience in design and illustration, and she with a decade in interiors photography and property renovation. In the 90’s they were residents of the rolling Pendle Moors in Lancashire - cradle of the modern wallpaper trade - and the company still print there today. The brand’s roots are in time-honoured craftsmanship, keeping the wallpaper trade with its feet firmly on the ground…but its head in the clouds.
